Job summary

ExxonMobil in Loving, New Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Lead/Operating Scheduler (OS) to carry out high-level maintenance work. The role may be ExxonMobil employee or contractor resource and typically reports to a supervisor.

The position involves estimating workloads, supporting engineering, operations, and readiness teams, and executing planned maintenance with strong emphasis on safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Discipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills ability to describe conditions clearly and concisely in the field and recommend remediation steps.
  • Team Player exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Proficient in reading drawings, constructing detailed reports, etc.
  • Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates.
  • Actively participate in the use of all on the job safety tools.
  • Review job execution details.
  • Identify any safety issues associated with job end ensure removal/mitigation prior to working.
  • Execute work as planned.
  • Record technical history as required by workgroup.
  • Provide feedback on job execution improvements to Execution FLS.
  • Request permits and notify Supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of requested time.

What Role You Will Play On Our Team


  • Maintenance Lead/OS are assigned to carry out high level maintenance work. This can either be an ExxonMobil (XOM) employee or a Contractor resource. Typically reports to a supervisor.


What You Will Do


  • Estimates workload to establish completion dates.

  • Assists engineering, ops teams, mechanical ,I&E, Ops readiness in the planning and execution of process components, equipment, vessels and machinery, such as flow piping, structural, environmental etc.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
