Brookside Properties, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join the 340-unit The Stratton community in Louisville, KY.

This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality work and long-term stability with a growing company. You’ll perform unit turns, maintain building systems and respond to after-hours emergency calls, collaborating with residents to ensure satisfaction and a well-run property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in multifamily/apartment maintenance preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or general maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification preferred (not required).
• CPO Certification preferred (not required) for pool maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls/on-call rotation.
• Basic hand tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform unit turns and prepare apartments for new residents.
• Maintain building systems, common areas, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours calls.
• Support property safety standards, inspections, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with maintaining inventory and maintenance supplies.
