Job Title: Maintenance Technician II or III

Shift: 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

Location: Carson City, NV

Pay Range: $27/hr - $35/hr

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II or III with electronic technician experience to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and repair machinery, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment, while ensuring the upkeep of the facility's physical structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Conduct tests to identify mechanical malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
• Observe machinery in operation and listen for sounds to detect problems.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble defective parts or devices.
• Perform adjustments, lubrication, and cleaning of machinery and tools.
• Operate equipment like lathes, drill presses, and grinders to fabricate or repair parts.
• Repair and maintain electrical equipment.
• Perform millwright duties and utilize braze-welding equipment as needed.
• Maintain repair records and a clean, safe maintenance shop.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and instructions. Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.
• Math Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve problems and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to use hands, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 90 pounds.
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regular exposure to extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, and airborne particles.
• Occasionally exposed to wet conditions, high places, and electrical shock risks.
• Noise levels are typically loud.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with machine tools and metalworking equipment.
• Experience maintaining records and initiating purchase orders for parts.
