Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs, installations, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform basic maintenance such as replacing bulbs, unclogging drains, and minor repairs.
• Help inspect equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
• Support preventive maintenance by preparing tools, materials, and work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, stations, and storage.
• Assist with moving, assembling, or disassembling equipment and furniture as needed.
• Respond to basic maintenance requests and report complex issues.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete assigned work orders and document tasks performed.
• Provide general support to other departments when maintenance help is needed.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician Assistant supports the Maintenance Technician and maintenance team with routine repair tasks, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep. This role helps ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the building, equipment, and company grounds. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions carefully.
