Responsibilities

• Replace bulbs in common areas and entrances.
• Address plumbing and drain issues and general maintenance tasks.
• Clean and maintain interiors/exteriors; report damage.
• Walk parking lots and grounds to collect debris and note issues.
• Assist with HVAC checks and filter changes.
• Clear snow and ice; maintain surfaces during winter.
• Landscape, mow, and assist with snow removal as needed.
• Patch and stripe parking lots; replace ceiling tiles.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and safety tasks.
• Apply insecticide/herbicide as required; safety painting.
• Maintain parking lot lighting and sprinkler systems seasonally.
• Operate and transport residents for errands as needed.
• Support other duties assigned by supervisor.

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and functionality within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Replace burned out light bulbs in common area and entrances.
• Address plumbing and drain issues.
• General maintenance related cleaning: light lens covers, interior and exterior.
• Walk parking lots and grounds to collect debris, report damage.
• Assist with HVAC check-up and filter change.
• For winter, clear snow & ice from all walks & apply ice-melt.
• Landscaping/mowing/snow-removal.
• Perform parking lot patching, crack filling, and lot striping.
• Replace damaged ceiling tiles.
• Minor electrical repairs.
• Apply insecticide and herbicide as needed.
• Apply new safety paint to areas as needed (handicap areas, curbs, etc.).
• General painting as needed.
• Reset parking lot light timers to match sunrise/sunset as needed.
• Open/Close sprinkler system to match the season and as needed.
• Drive our residents to and from grocery stores, pharmacies, fish fry events, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in General Maintenance a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Maintenance: 1-3 years (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Ability to Commute
