Job summary

DP Management LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our North Platte, NE location. You will perform a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks to keep facilities running efficiently and safely. A proactive maintenance mindset and ability to troubleshoot are essential.

The role involves hands-on repairs, winter weather duties, landscaping, and occasional driving to assist residents. Valid driver's license required and prior maintenance experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in General Maintenance a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with electrical/HVAC systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Replace burned out light bulbs in common areas and entrances.
• Address plumbing and drain issues.
• General maintenance cleaning: light lens covers, interior and exterior.
• Walk parking lots and grounds to collect debris, report damage.
• Assist with HVAC check-up and filter change.
• Winter: clear snow and ice from walks; apply ice-melt.
• Landscaping, mowing, snow-removal.
• Parking lot patching, crack filling, and lot striping.
• Replace damaged ceiling tiles.
• Minor electrical repairs.
• Apply insecticide and herbicide as needed.
• Apply safety paint to handicap areas, curbs, etc.
• General painting as needed.
• Reset parking lot light timers to match sunrise/sunset.
• Open/Close sprinkler system seasonally.
• Drive our residents to and from stores/events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary:

This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and functionality within our facilities.
