Role Description This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role is based in Lexington, KY. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and coordinating with vendors or contractors when needed. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and documenting work performed and parts used. The Maintenance Technician collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to minimize downtime, support regulatory compliance, and maintain clean, orderly, and functional facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance skills, with experience working in clinical or commercial facilities.
• Ability to perform Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Effective Troubleshooting capabilities for diagnosing and resolving equipment and facility issues in a timely manner.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare, industrial, or commercial maintenance settings is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed, work with hand and power tools, and follow safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
