Job summary

Artemis Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Lexington area to identify an experienced Maintenance Technician Lead who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and keeping production running at its best. This is a first-shift opportunity with excellent benefits and long-term growth.

You’ll lead maintenance across the facility, diagnose and repair a variety of equipment, and collaborate with production teams to improve reliability while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated production equipment.
  • Injection molding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, robotics, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
  • Maintain electrical systems including lighting, switches, outlets, and breaker panels.
  • Service HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
  • Perform general building maintenance including doors, locks, windows, and facility repairs.
  • Inspect and maintain fire protection and safety systems.
  • Complete daily 5S inspections and promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance activities.
  • Partner with production teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and increased reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Maintenance Technician Lead, you’ll help ensure the safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and works well both independently and with a team.

Preferred qualifications include:

Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance

Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems

Experience with preventative maintenance programs

Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated production equipment

Injection molding experience is a plus

HVAC, electrical, or maintenance certifications are a plus

Strong attention to safety and quality

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks
