Responsibilities

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for

• Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
• Inspecting machinery to identify any malfunctions, damage, or wear and tear.
• Performing complex troubleshooting to diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
• Participating in safety meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance and maintain personal skill level.
• Understanding and implementing manufacturing methods and procedures in day-to-day tasks.
• Operating and controlling the functionality of machines and tools.
• Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician role will have the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical understanding and skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Familiarity with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical skills.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance and repairing.
• Ability to operate and control machinery and tools.
• Strong understanding and commitment to basic safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
