Job summary

JVM Realty Corporation in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, functional, and well-maintained. You will handle service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with apartment turns.

The ideal candidate has HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair knowledge; can use hand and power tools; and embraces customer service and teamwork. On-call shifts evenings or weekends may be required. Benefits included.

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who is hands‑on, reliable, and ready to keep our property running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a key member of the property team, ensuring our community is safe, functional, and beautiful.

Responsibilities

• Completing service requests and repairs in apartments and common areas.
• Performing preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape.
• Troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Assisting with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, and cleaning.
• Maintaining grounds, facilities, and equipment.
• Responding to emergency maintenance calls as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in property maintenance, building operations, or a related trade.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and teamwork attitude.
• Ability to work on‑call shifts, evenings, or weekends as needed

ADA Physical Requirements of the Position

• Snow removal to include shoveling and snow blowing walk ways and stairs in the community
• Must be able to perform outdoor job functions in all weather conditions, approximately 25% of the time
• Must be able to lift up to 80lbs, approximately10% of the time
• Must be able to climb stairs, approximately 10% of the time
• Must be able to walk the community grounds, approximately 15% of the time
• Must be able to climb a ladder approximately 5% of the time

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $20-23/hr JVM Management, Inc. determines individual pay within this range based on factors including qualifications, experience, scope of responsibilities, and internal equity.

This pay range reflects a good‑faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined at the time of offer.
