Job summary

LCS is seeking two dependable part-time maintenance team members in League City, TX to share a full-time maintenance schedule (up to 20 hours per week). The role involves hands-on duties including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general upkeep across the community’s buildings and grounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fix wall covers, floors and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing and minor electrical repairs.
• Receive service requests and respond in a timely manner.
• Paint and refurbish projects as directed by supervisor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
• Complete all work in priority order set by supervisor.
• Assist during winter with snow removal as necessary.
• Maintain fountains, pumping and filtration systems as appropriate.
• Perform maintenance on irrigation system (valves, timers and nozzles).
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles when assigned.
• Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• When qualified, assist with heating/AC systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
• Maintain exterior and interior of all buildings.
• Supports creating a culture where business decisions, along with employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Starting Pay: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience

We're seeking two dependable part-time team members to share a full-time maintenance schedule. Each employee working a portion of the week half days Mon-Wed or Wed-Fri, including one weekend day. (= to 20 hours a week)

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, you will assist in maintaining the community's buildings, grounds, and equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, routine repairs, seasonal projects, basic plumbing and building upkeep, and supporting a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and team members.

1. Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
2. Receive service requests and response in a timely manner.
3. Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
4. Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
5. Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
6. Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.

8. Maintain cleanliness of fountains, pumping and filtration system, where appropriate.

12. WHEN QUALIFIED, assist the Director of Plant Operations and/or perform work on the heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
13. Maintain exterior and interior of all buildings.
14. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION OR OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess current and valid driver’s license consistent with the requirements determined by size of vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS
