Job summary

Quik Mart in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our family-owned chain of convenience stores. You will perform general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting and sheetrock, plus electrical work to keep locations safe and inviting.

HVAC, food service and kitchen equipment maintenance, plus operation of the company truck and travel to all store locations, are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years general maintenance experience, preferably in retail or convenience stores.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, painting, and sheetrock repair as needed.
• Handle general electrical work and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, food service, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate company truck safely and travel to store locations.
• Collaborate with store managers and team members, ensuring safety and store standards.
• Rotate nights, weekends and on-call duties with other technicians.
• Adhere to safety policies and provide equipment improvement recommendations.

Primary responsibilities include:

• General Contractor work (plumbing, painting, sheetrock repair)
• General Electrical work
• Maintenance and repairs of HVAC equipment
• Maintenance and repairs of Food Service equipment
• Maintenance and repairs of Kitchen equipment
• Safely operate company truck
• Willingness to learn and expand on current skills and knowledge
• Willingness to learnMaintenance and repairs of Gasoline Dispensers
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Always represent Quik Mart professionally
• Travel to all store locations
• Provide recommendations for improving equipment and store performance
• Maintenance and repairs of building and equipment used by Quik Mart
• Willingness to work closely with Store Managers and Team Members
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Rotate nights – weekends - on call duties with other technicians

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Live within service area (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• 2+ years general maintenance experience (Preferred)
• HVAC experience (Plus)
• Previous Convenience Store Maintenance (Plus)
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to climb and work from a ladder
