Job summary
LeoForce in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot 110V, 220V, and 480V electrical systems, three-phase motors, PLCs, and automated manufacturing equipment.
You will perform preventive maintenance, read schematics and blueprints, document activities, and work with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability in a safety-focused environment. Schedule supports a Monday–Friday daytime shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with three-phase motors and 480V systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.

Salary: $28 - $40 per hour

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 110V, 220V, and 480V electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain three-phase motors, control panels, wiring systems, and industrial electrical components.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.
- Diagnose electrical problems and identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Assist with installation and modification of electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot control circuits, sensors, switches, relays, and other electrical components.
- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Ensure electrical work is completed in accordance with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
- Accurately document repairs, installations, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Respond to equipment issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
- Participate in maintenance projects and equipment improvement initiatives.
- Complete required company and job‑specific training.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Perform additional maintenance and electrical responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Technical certification, trade school training, or associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
- Experience working with three-phase motors and 480V systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, preferably Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and industrial safety practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/chemical plant environment with exposure to noise, heat, machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to safely utilize required PPE and follow all plant safety procedures.
