Walmart associate positions are open for qualified candidates with experience in industrial maintenance and electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment repair. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex equipment, and maintaining records and logs in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities
Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and or in writing, e.g., customers, suppliers, associates. Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer‑based documents according to established procedures. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, banana room equipment, electronic and electrical equipment. Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, and other powered machinery. Clean and maintain grounds, parking lots, fencing, and building facilities such as bathrooms and plumbing. Read and understand technical drawings, e.g., blueprints and electronic/mechanical schematics, to repair and maintain equipment. Change industrial batteries for all types of power equipment, including the removal and replacement of battery retention plates. Inspect, clean, and repair industrial equipment batteries according to procedures, e.g., tips, contacts, cables. Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment. Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment when the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment) OR coursework or certification in industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, mechanical automation, mechatronics, or related areas of study.
- Experience in blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in welding, electrical, mechanical automation, or industrial electronics.
