Employ-Temps Staffing Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Medina to identify mechanical issues, perform timely repairs, and maintain equipment to reduce downtime and keep production running efficiently.

The role requires working 5:00pm–5:00am, Monday–Thursday, with a pay range of $25–$30 per hour plus a 10% shift differential. You’ll support PM schedules, rebuild activities, parts requisitions, and operator assistance, while complying with OSHA and SDS standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s degree or higher is a plus.
• Must provide own tools to perform job responsibilities.
• Able to work overtime and nights as required.
• Familiar with manufacturing chemical plant operations (if applicable).
• Electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely equipment change overs as required by production schedule.
• Assist in maintenance of an established preventive maintenance schedule.
• Assist in equipment rebuilding activities.
• Review assigned equipment and perform rebuilding of projects.
• Make timely repairs as directed by the engineering department.
• Assist operators on equipment set ups to ensure proper operations.
• Requisition parts, components, supplies and equipment for maintenance.
• Provide training to plant personnel in control of equipment and processes.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a hands on Maintenance Technician for our client in Medina. This role is responsible for identifying mechanical issues, performing timely and accurate repairs, and maintaining equipment to reduce downtime and keep production running efficiently.

Shift

• 5:00pm - 5:00am , Monday - Thursday

Pay

• $25-30per hour and 10% shift differential

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely equipment change over’s as required by productions schedule
• Assists in maintenance of an established P.M. schedule on assigned equipment.
• Assist in equipment rebuilding activities.
• Reviews assigned equipment and performs the rebuilding of the project.
• Makes timely repairs as directed by the engineering department
• Assist operators on equipment set ups to ensure proper operations
• Requisitions for parts, components, supplies and equipment to be used in the maintenance area
• Provides training to plant personnel in the control of equipment and processes
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree or higher a plus.
• Must provide one’s own tools required to perform job responsibilities
• Able to work overtime and nights as required
• Familiar with manufacturing chemical plant operations
• Electrical, Pneumatic, and Mechanical troubleshooting
• Must demonstrate timely troubleshooting skills to limit downtime due to breakdowns
• 2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant
• Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up above shoulder level weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day).
• Able work in extreme temperatures, indoors and out
• Overtime will frequently be necessary
