Job summary

Umicore Belgium is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing and warehouse operations. The role covers basic maintenance tasks, installations, pipefitting, and mechanical work, with emphasis on safety, PPE, and PM systems.

Candidate should have a high school diploma and be comfortable using hand and power tools, with basic computer skills to manage work orders and preventive maintenance records. This first shift role includes some overtime and a drug-free workplace expectation.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear PPE including respirator as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, climb stairs and ladders.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new project installations.

• Carry out small mechanical installations and basic repairs/maintenance.
• Work with preventative maintenance computer system.

What you will be doing

As our Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling basic maintenance tasks to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. Specifically, this will include:

• Assisting with new project installations;
• Basic pipefitting and plumbing installation and repair;
• Handling small mechanical installations;
• Completing basic repairs and maintenance;
• Working with preventative maintenance computer system;
• Other duties as needed.

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility. The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.

This is a first shift position, working Monday - Friday with occasional overtime.
