Job summary

Palm Commodities International, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. The role focuses on basic maintenance, installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks. You will work in a first-shift Mon-Fri schedule with potential overtime.

Ideal candidates have an industrial maintenance education or related background, plus a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with hand and power tools and ability to lift 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates with industrial maintenance education are encouraged to apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to wear PPE including air purifying respirator as needed.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs, climb stairs and ladders for maintenance and inspection of equipment.
• Basic computer skills for handling work orders and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic maintenance tasks to support manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Perform basic pipefitting and plumbing installation and repair.
• Execute small mechanical installations and simple repairs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; use preventive maintenance systems.
• Support the PM program and related work orders.
• Other duties as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

As our Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling basic maintenance tasks to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. Specifically, this will include:

• Assisting with new project installations;
• Basic pipefitting and plumbing installation and repair;
• Handling small mechanical installations;
• Completing basic repairs and maintenance;
• Working with preventative maintenance computer system;
• Other duties as needed.

Additional Information

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility. The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.

This is a first shift position, working Monday – Friday with occasional overtime.
