Job summary

Gold's Gym Washington is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to uphold operations across Kirkland and surrounding gym locations. The role includes routine maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fitness equipment, plus pool care and chemical balancing to ensure member safety and satisfaction.

You will collaborate with management, coordinate with external vendors, and keep meticulous records while traveling between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facility Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on fitness equipment.
• Experience in overseeing pool maintenance and chemical balancing in aquatics facilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple gym locations in Washington and Oregon State.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report to the Vice President of Operations regularly.
• Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

• $21.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience
