Job summary

Cee Kay Supply is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of CK Supply buildings and equipment in a dynamic facility environment.

You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and coordination of parts to minimize downtime while adhering to safety policies and company values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic-pneumatic knowledge.
• Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with 24VDC to 480 VAC circuitry.
• Ability to operate multiple measuring devices and read schematics.
• General computer skills and valid driver’s license.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The Maintenance Technician ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment by performing repairs, routine maintenance, and preventative maintenance on all CK Supply buildings and equipment. This role helps support reliable operations and helps minimize downtime across the facilities.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical-mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electric motors, conveyors, light carpentry, HVAC Maintenance, and light plumbing
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed
• Fabricate and request parts
• Request parts needed and supply level inventory
• Coordinate needed repairs with appropriate departments
• Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation
• Assist in other departments as needed
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
• Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
• Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic-pneumatic knowledge
• Basic carpentry skills
• Knowledge of 24VDC to 480 VAC Circuitry
• Ability to operate multiple measuring devices
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well with others, sometimes cross-departmentally
• Basic mathematical knowledge
• General computer skills (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Word)
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work in noisy, loud conditions, that at times will require PPE
• Work in all seasons of outdoor weather conditions

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion
• Stand, bend, and kneel for duration of shift

EQUIPMENT UTILIZED

The following is a list of some of the types of equipment that an employee in this position may be required to operate. This list is not all-inclusive.

• Forklift
• Pressure Filling Equipment (LIN,LAR,LOX and CO2)
• Various hand and power tools
• Snow removal equipment (shovel, plow, salt, etc.)
• Company vehicle and lift gate

REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT

All proper safety equipment must be worn according to company policies and regulations including safety glasses, safety boots, and ear protection while in any area considered safety-sensitive.
