The role requires hands-on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance experience, plus excellent communication and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Competenze

• EPA Certification required (Universal or Type I/II).
• HVAC repair and diagnostic experience: 1+ years.
• Strong diagnostic and repair abilities in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance; vehicle provided or mileage reimbursed.
• Tablet provided for work order tracking and schedule management.
• Friendly, professional communication and ability to work independently.
• Must pass a standard background check.

Job Overview

G1 Real Estate Services, LLC owns and manages a growing portfolio of residential rental properties throughout the Kansas City Metro area. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance experience, along with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• HVAC Maintenance & Repair: Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, filter replacements, and repair work on residential heating and cooling systems.
• Plumbing & Electrical Work: Fix leaks, clear drains, service fixtures, repair light fixtures, switches, outlets, and handle general electrical/plumbing troubleshooting.
• General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform turnover repairs, drywall patch/paint, lock replacement, appliance repairs, and general property upkeep.
• Work Order Management: Respond promptly to assigned tenant work orders, schedule on-site appointments, and log job details digitally.
• Resident & Manager Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, property managers, and team members regarding timelines and repair statuses.
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in periodic on-call emergency response rotations as scheduled.

Requirements & Qualifications

• EPA Certification: EPA Certification is required (Universal or Type I/II).
• HVAC Experience: 1+ years of practical HVAC repair and diagnostic experience required.
• General Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic and repair abilities in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general residential building maintenance.
• License & Vehicle: Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and auto insurance. Company van provided or reliable personal vehicle for traveling to property sites (mileage reimbursed).
• Technology: Tablet provided for using mobile apps/websites for work order tracking and schedule management.
• Soft Skills: Friendly, professional communication style, strong problem-solving skills, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
• Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Starting hourly rate based on experience $27+.
