Job summary

Michael Development Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Bohemia Flats and Sand Creek Flats in New Prague and Jordan, MN. This part-time role (20-30 hours/week) includes on-call emergency maintenance and responsibilities across plumbing, HVAC, appliance, and electrical tasks to keep apartment communities in top condition.

Applicants should have 3-4 years in maintenance, tool familiarity, physical aptitude, and a team-oriented approach. Background check required; own tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate time and extent of repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Lawncare and snow shoveling/salting in winter as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as directed.

About this position

Bohemia Flats and Sand Creek Flats, two luxury apartment communities in New Prague and Jordan, MN, are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders, maintenance on apartment turns, preventive maintenance and other required tasks. This is a part-time position, 20-30 hours per week, plus on-call emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities:

Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion including but not limited to plumbing, appliances, HVAC repairs, lock changes and minor electrical repairs

Estimate time and extent of repairs

Perform routine preventive maintenance

Lawncare and shoveling/salting in winter as needed

Additional responsibilities as directed

Qualifications:

3-4 years of previous maintenance experience required

Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload
