Job summary

Southern Cast Products in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Maintenance Technician with hands-on maintenance experience to support our foundry and machining operations. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and help diagnose and repair breakdowns.

We value dependable, safety-minded teammates who can read manuals and schematics, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with production teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance or mechanical experience
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read manuals and basic schematics
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Assist with diagnosing breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Help install, align, and calibrate equipment
• Read manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate with production

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician with some prior maintenance or mechanical experience who's ready to grow their skills in a foundry and machining environment. You don't need to be an expert if you have a mechanical background and a solid foundation in troubleshooting, we'll help you build from there. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working on equipment with some guidance.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of maintenance, mechanical, or related hands‑on experience (industrial, automotive, agricultural, military, or similar)
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read equipment manuals and basic schematics
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Responsibilities:
