Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Pay Range: $40.00/hr - $47.00/hr

Overview

The main function of a maintenance technician is to perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair.

Responsibilities

1. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
2. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and building systems operate efficiently.
3. Inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance tasks following checklists.
4. Use various tools and testing devices for maintenance and repair.
5. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, piping, machinery, and equipment.
6. Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
7. Record maintenance and repair activities, including costs.
8. Clean and lubricate machinery parts.
9. Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts.
