Job summary

Michael Development in Inver Grove Heights, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of repair, preventive maintenance, and basic operations tasks. You will handle plumbing, electrical, heating and A/C, and routine upkeep while ensuring safety and efficiency. This full-time role requires own tools and on-site work

The position includes benefits such as holidays, vacation, sick time, and a 401K. On-call rotation applies approximately every four weeks.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of previous maintenance experience required.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload and work with a team.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete work and repair orders including plumbing, appliances, heating and A/C repairs, lock changes, and minor electrical repairs.
• Estimate time and extent of repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Perform turnaround maintenance.
• Mowing in summer and shoveling/salting in winter as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as directed.

About this position

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with on-call rotation (approx. every 4 weeks). You must have your own tools.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
