Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for a highly automated manufacturing facility in Indianapolis.

The role supports production equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and keeping the lines running to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include reading electrical and mechanical schematics, diagnosing failures, performing repairs, and assisting with setups and changeovers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Injection molding or plastics exposure preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment issues.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Replace mechanical components and support equipment adjustments.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Assist production with equipment setups, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring equipment issues.
• Support and mentor less experienced maintenance technicians.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
