Are you a seasoned Maintenance Technician with a knack for troubleshooting, a mastery of mechanical systems, and an expert hand at wielding power and hand tools? Do you have a proven track record in welding and PLC? If yes, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Permanent Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry, you will be part of a dynamic team that keeps our high-tech manufacturing equipment and systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the maintenance team, your responsibilities will include

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions.
• Using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair, replace, or install equipment parts.
• Programming and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure the efficient operation of automated manufacturing systems.
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to identify and address equipment-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Documenting all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference.
• Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical systems, power tools, hand tools, and welding.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and control system malfunctions.
• Experience with programming and maintaining PLCs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in a relevant technical field is preferred.
