Job summary

Bronson & Bratton, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in a family-owned high-precision tool and die shop. You will diagnose, repair CNC machinery, and perform preventive maintenance while handling hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Requirements include 5+ years in similar settings, a High School Degree or GED, and strong English communication. Forklift experience is a plus; Esterly skilled technicians encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a precision tool & die shop.
• Proficient with electrical testing equipment and CNC diagnostics/repairs.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical wiring.
• Experience with general facility maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• PLC programming: test, simulate, troubleshoot, integrate systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and related machinery.
• Repair motors, pumps, belts, fans, leadscrews, bearings; source parts as needed.
• Research procedures and parts online; source new or used components.
• Operate forklift when needed and safely.
• Maintain Alar filtration system operation and repairs.
• Ensure high-quality, detail-oriented maintenance work and clear communication.

Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years needed for 1st shift in a family-owned high precision tool & die shop.

• Must be proficient in using electrical testing equipment and capable of diagnosing and repairing CNC machinery.
• Must also have a working knowledge of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical wiring.
• Experience with general facility maintenance on more difficult (plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical repairs).
• PLC programming to include test, simulate, troubleshoot and integrate systems.
• Forklift operation is a plus.
• Repairs and maintains machinery such as motors, pumps, belts, fans, leadscrews and bearings on Mills, Lathes, and Grinders etc.
• Ability to research internet to find repair procedures and replacement parts new and used.
• Working knowledge of Alar filtration system operation and repair.
• Performs preventive maintenance duties as assigned.
• High School Degree/GED required
• Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and have good verbal communication skills including a fluency in English.
• Internet skills and computer skills.
