Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Hutchinson, MN seeks a Maintenance Technician for the day shift (6am–6pm) with rotating weekends. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and building systems, performing skilled work across mechanical, electrical, heating, plumbing, hydraulics and refrigeration.

The role requires 2–3 years in a food processing environment, detail orientation, forklift certification, and travel to Hutchinson and Clara City locations.

Qualifications

• High degree of attention to detail, precision and follow through.
• Able to pass Forklift License Certification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Travel to Hutchinson and Clara City locations.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Hutchinson, MN team. We are looking for Day shift - 6am to 6pm, with some rotating weekends.

Pay: Starting at $35.00- $45.00 per hour based on experience

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of production equipment and some building maintenance.


• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration, etc.


• Able to follow written instructions for assigned tasks

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• 2 – 3 years previous maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.


• High degree of attention to detail, precision and follow through


• Able to pass Forklift License Certification


• Strong mechanical aptitude


• Ability to travel to both Hutchinson and Clara City locations

The starting salary range for this position is between $35.00- $45.00 USD hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to skill set and depth of experience.
