The role requires diagnosing issues, dismantling and reassembling machines, and ensuring safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position does general maintenance repair work that includes both electrical and mechanical. Performs basic diagnostic tests, evaluates equipment performance, cleans and lubricates machinery and performs equipment repairs and maintenance.

In a typical workday employee is standing, walking, seeing, hearing, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, including climbing using scissors-lift to repair and/or maintain equipment at heights up to forty (40’) ft off the ground and reaching out to three (3) ft and up to three (3)ft, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, lifting parts weighing up to forty (40) lbs. manually or by crane or forklift for repairing and or replacing equipment.
Employee will work in an open warehouse the majority (98%) of the time and will be exposed to some or all of the following working conditions: Extreme Heat & Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes and Metallic Particles. Employee will be exposed to the hazards of working with heavy machinery. Employee is required to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and steel toed boots with metatarsals. The Company furnishes initial hard hat, gloves and safety glasses.
