Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Vintage Park Apartments, a 324-unit community in Houston, TX. This full-time role supports timely unit turns and ensures safety and quality across occupied and vacant units.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of related maintenance experience, a High School diploma or GED, and solid knowledge of painting, fixture repair, plumbing, and electrical work. Reliability and time management are essential assets.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Apartment industry experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage time.
• Knowledge of painting, landscaping and fixture repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely completion of vacant unit turns.
• Identifies areas needing improvement and makes recommendations.
• Performs turnkey operations including plumbing repairs, lock/smoke alarm repairs, appliance repairs, A/C filter replacements, and light bulb replacements.
• Installs ceiling fans and wall sockets, and performs minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Assists with preventative maintenance onsite and with work orders.
• Ensures inventory items are in good working condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

Our Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Technician for our Market Rate apartment community, Vintage Park Apartments, of 324 units in Houston, TX.

Job Type: Full-Time

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience
• Apartment industry experience is preferred
• High School diploma, or GED equivalency
• Maintenance knowledge of painting, landscaping, apartment fixture repair/replacement is a plus
• Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage time

Responsibilities:

• Ensures timely completion of vacant unit turns.
• Identifies areas or items in need of improvement or replacement and makes recommendations.
• Performs turnkey operations, punches items including but not limited to
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Lock, smoke alarms repairs/replacements
  • Appliance repairs
  • A/C filters replacements
  • Light bulbs replacements
• Installs ceiling fans, wall sockets and performs minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Assists with performance of preventative maintenance onsite.
• Assists with completion of work orders as needed.
• Ensures all inventory items are in good working condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
