Job summary

World Emblem is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service Tajima and Barudan sewing machines in our Houston facility. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment with a strong focus on rapid problem solving.

Responsibilities include maintenance scheduling, inventory management of spare parts, recording work orders, and collaborating with staff. The ideal candidate has 2 years of sewing machine experience, proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365, and solid communication

Maintenance Technician

Full Time Manual Labor Houston, TX, US

Salary Range: $16.00 To $18.00 Hourly

Job Summary

A highly qualified person in the maintenance of Tajima and Barudan sewing machines, with a high capacity to solve problems quickly and effectively.

Training & Support

Ongoing knowledge and education on the company's machines.

Participates in formal and informal training sessions to gain new skills and knowledge.

Contributes to and updates the machine inventory database, as well as inventory management of spare parts that need to be kept in stock for the department.

IT & Operational Functions

Responsible for machine issues in the company.

Participate in team meetings and communications.

Record machine work orders.

Follow up on machine repair requests.

Track the status of equipment and ordered supplies using the inventory management tool.

Logical thinker and able to prioritize workload and urgency.

Strong Customer Service Ethic.

Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills, with a strong ability to research and find solutions independently.

Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, thriving in both independent and collaborative work environments.

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff and stakeholders across all levels.
