National Safety Apparel in Arkansas is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment, with occasional facility upkeep. The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires a proactive, safety-conscious mindset.
You will maintain equipment across cutting, sewing, and production lines, keep detailed logs, and support continuous improvement within a temperature-controlled plant environment.

Position Overview: Responsible for maintenance (preventative & repairs) on all plant equipment and occasionally help with facility maintenance.
Training: Provided on the job and may be supplemented with external, local, or out-of-town training.
Key Competencies: Likes to build and fix things, persistence (wants it done, but wants it done "right"), positive attitude, dependable, analytical thinking, problem solving, good communication skills, and functional computer skills (email, PM logs/tracking and maintenance tracking).
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for duration of shift, manual dexterity when working with industrial sewing machines of all sizes, and good vision (corrected vision is fine). Needs to be able to lift 40 lbs.
Working Conditions: Temperature-regulated plant environment and consistent background machine noise.
