Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role at our Houston area hotel. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle repairs, and assist with general upkeep to keep the property safe, functional, and guest-friendly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventative maintenance, and the ability to work with hand and power tools. Scheduling flexibility including nights and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
• Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
• Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
• Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained while providing friendly, professional guest service.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.
• May work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
