Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Maintenance Technician

Location: Hopkinsville, KY

Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

***Multiple roles available for 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) and 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)***

Mural Industrial Staffing provides recruiting and staffing services for companies in the Light Industrial sector across Kentucky. We are currently hiring Maintenance Technicians for a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier in Hopkinsville, KY. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting high-efficiency production with a company known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure
• Perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery (e.g., conveyors, presses, robotic systems)
• Read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics to identify mechanical/electrical issues
• Use hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with all safety and environmental protocols
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLCs is highly valued—candidates strong in these areas will be considered even if lighter on pneumatics
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-production environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks at heights
• Availability for shift work, overtime, and emergency repairs as required
