Job summary

New Iron, Inc. is seeking a PVD Equipment Maintenance Technician from junior to senior level to support on-site maintenance at Hopewell Junction, NY. You will work with PVD/deposition equipment, vacuum systems, and related semiconductor tooling to keep production lines running.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, chamber maintenance, and documentation. Senior staff may lead complex repairs and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with AMAT Endura or other PVD/deposition equipment.
• Knowledge of vacuum chambers, pumps, robotics, or gas delivery.
• Ability to read schematics and technical procedures.
• Cleanroom or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.

PVD Equipment Maintenance Technician – Junior to Senior

Location: Hopewell Junction, NY (on-site)

A leading semiconductor manufacturer is expanding its equipment-maintenance team. Direct AMAT Endura experience is preferred, but technicians with hands-on PVD, metal-deposition, vacuum-system, or related semiconductor equipment experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform or support preventive and corrective equipment maintenance
• Troubleshoot hardware, vacuum, electrical, and mechanical faults
• Support chamber cleans, target changes, pump maintenance, and wafer recovery
• Assist with tool qualification and return-to-production
• Complete maintenance documentation and shift pass-downs
• Senior technicians may lead complex repairs and mentor junior team members

Experience

• AMAT Endura, Lam metals, ULVAC, or other PVD/deposition equipment
• Semiconductor equipment maintenance involving vacuum chambers, pumps, robotics, or gas delivery
• Ability to read schematics and technical procedures
• Cleanroom or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
