Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Holbrook, Massachusetts. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining machinery, facilities, and systems while coordinating with internal departments to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, plus basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• 2 to 4 years of machinery and facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with manufacturing facilities.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical knowledge.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, facilities, systems, and grounds.
• Process work orders promptly, prioritizing critical repairs.
• Coordinate with maintenance, management, and internal customers.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire systems.
• Schedule maintenance to minimize disruption.
• Report project status and updates to management.

Rate: $29 USD per hour

Description

ProAmpac is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Holbrook, Massachusetts!

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

Essential Duties And Tasks

• Repair & maintain machinery, equipment, facilities, systems & grounds
• Timely process work orders/requests, prioritizing most critical repairs
• Work closely with maintenance, management, internal customers and other departments
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance which may include mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, interior and exterior areas. This is not a full list there may be other areas of responsibility
• Coordinate with specialists internal and external when more complex work is needed
• Schedules maintenance, repairs and installations to minimize disruptions when possible
• Report on and update management and systems on projects, status, schedules, completion changes
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education And Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent, technical training is a plus
• Experience 2 to 4 years’ machinery, equipment, internal/external facilities maintenance required
• Experience with manufacturing facilities.
• Solid working knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.
• Maintain confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
