Job summary

ProAmpac in Holbrook, Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team. The role operates Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm in Holbrook, MA.

The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance across multiple systems, coordinate with internal and external specialists, and manage work orders while minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 to 4 years’ machinery and facilities maintenance experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing facilities and general maintenance.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Process work orders and prioritize critical repairs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other departments.
  • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems.
  • Coordinate with internal and external specialists for complex work.
  • Schedule maintenance, repairs, and installations to minimize disruptions.
  • Report project status and updates to management.

Job description

ProAmpac is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Holbrook, Massachusetts!

Shift:

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

Essential Duties and Tasks

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Timely process work orders/requests, prioritizing most critical repairs
  • Work closely with maintenance, management, internal customers and other departments
  • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance which may include mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, interior and exterior areas. This is not a full list there may be other areas of responsibility
  • Coordinate with specialists internal and external when more complex work is needed
  • Schedules maintenance, repairs and installations to minimize disruptions when possible
  • Report on and update management and systems on projects, status, schedules, completion changes
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent, technical training is a plus
  • Experience 2 to 4 years’ machinery, equipment, internal/external facilities maintenance required
  • Experience with manufacturing facilities.
  • Solid working knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
