Our award-winning seating solutions are developed from consumer research, finding the ease of operation to be comfortable, convenient and connected.**Job Responsibilities:****Required Education/Certification/Licensure****:*** High school diploma or equivalent required.* Trade school certification as an Industrial/Electrician/Millwright or Industrial/Mechanic preferred.* Journey worker certification preferred.**Required Experience****:*** Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment.* Experience operating a powered industrial truck and aerial lift (testing and certification to be administered by Magna Seating Detroit).**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities****:*** Working knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, electrical (up to 480 volt), PLC (Allen Bradley preferred), and robotic systems (Fanuc preferred).* Fabrication experience, including blueprint reading/interpretation, machining (lathe, Bridgeport, and bandsaw), and welding.* Ability to interpret & apply measurements in both the Imperial and Metric systems; ability to use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and measuring tape.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to electro-mechanical systems.* Ability to read/understand ladder logic PLC systems preferred.* Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and shop tools.* Basic computer skills, including e-mail management and task management software.* Ability to work in a team environment; good communication and time management skills.* Ability to take initiative and work under limited supervision.## **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:**At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
