Job summary

Flournoy Properties Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support the District South property. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with service requests, and help with pool, grounds care and preventive tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• EPA Type I & II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications are required for technicians.
• All applicable State and Local certifications must be held.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance duties under guidance of Maintenance Director.
• Assist with service requests, make ready, pool and grounds care, and preventive maintenance.
• On-call after hours rotation and full Saturday rotation with the team.

Duties

• Under the direction and guidance of the Maintenance Director, the maintenance technician performs routine maintenance duties and other related tasks when assigned
• Assist the Maintenance Director with completion of service requests, make ready, pool and grounds care, and preventive maintenance
• Perform On Call after hours service on a scheduled rotation, handle emergency service requests and work a full Saturday scheduled rotation with the other service team members
• Assist with maintaining up to date parts, tools and equipment inventories, maintenance logs and records, employee schedules, warranty lists, etc
• Ensure positive resident relations by responding to requests in a friendly, professional manner and within the designated time frame
• Maintain a strong emphasis on customer service help instill this value in co-workers
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times and perform duties following all Federal, State and Flournoy safety policy and procedures
• Assist Maintenance Director in other duties as assigned/directed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Incumbents must have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling. (Applies to Certified Service Technicians.)
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions. (Applies to all Service Technicians.)
• A current valid driver’s license is required.
