Job summary

Friends Homes, Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our apartments and common areas in excellent condition. You will perform daily checks, handle work orders, and coordinate with residents and staff to ensure safe, comfortable living spaces.

The role requires a valid driver's license, at least two years in maintenance, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work weekends. Basic computer skills are needed to log work orders and document tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and reporting.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Shift(s): Full Time, 8a-5p, On Call Shifts

What You’ll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members
• Perform daily checks of mechanical equipment and apartment refurbishments

• Respond to reasonable resident complaints and requests
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies

• Willingness to work weekends as needed
