Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the chilled water plant and related infrastructure in Texas. You will report to the Facilities Manager and ensure reliability and efficiency of operations, leading maintenance tasks and improving processes daily.

You will bring hands-on experience with automated equipment, troubleshooting, lean practices, and CMMS usage. This role requires collaboration with production and contractors to uphold safety and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required; relevant discipline preferred.
• 2–5+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Lean manufacturing experience required.
• Able to communicate in technical terms with skilled labor.
• Electrical knowledge up to 480 VAC 3-phase a plus.
• Basic OSHA and building code knowledge.
• HVAC-R and cooling tower knowledge.
• Good knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

About The Role

What You bring

• Experience performing trouble shooting and root cause analysis
• Experience with automated production equipment maintenance
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Able to communicate in technical terms with skilled labor.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and building code
• Basic Knowledge of OSHA code
• HVAC-R knowledge
• Cooling tower knowledge
• Electrical knowledge up to 480 VAC 3phase a plus
• Basic knowledge of motor controls
• Employee portals systems (timecard, and performance reviews)
• Good knowledge of CMMS systems
• Good preventative/predictive skills
• MS office software applications

NOTE: We are recruiting 1 position for each of the following shifts:

A Shift - Sunday to Wednesday; Sunday to Tuesday - 7a-7p

B Shift - Sunday to Wednesday; Sunday to Tuesday - 7p-7a

D Shift - Thursday to Saturday; Wednesday to Saturday - 7p-7a
