Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2–5+ years of relevant maintenance work experience.
• Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis experience.
• Experience with automated production equipment maintenance.
• Maintenance in a manufacturing environment and lean manufacturing exposure.
• Ability to communicate in technical terms with skilled labor.
• Basic electrical knowledge and building code familiarity.
• OSHA knowledge and HVAC-R familiarity.
• Cooling tower knowledge and motor controls understanding.
• Experience with CMMS and standard MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

About The Role

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and infrastructure of a chilled water plant. They will report to the Facilities Manager and will be responsible for the reliability and efficiency of operations.

What You’ll Do

• Assign daily work/tasks to maintenance staff and provide guidance on task completion.
• Responsible for maintaining maintenance KPIs to ZT standards (MTBF, MTTR, PM completions, Downtime reports, Slack time reports and project status).
• Schedule repairs and PM schedules with production leadership.
• Maintain inventory min/max levels.
• Work with mechanical contractors for rebuilds.
• Critique and improve SOPs to increase maintenance performance.
• Manage continuous improvement, capital projects.

What You Bring

• Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 2-5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience performing trouble shooting and root cause analysis.
• Experience with automated production equipment maintenance.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Able to communicate in technical terms with skilled labor.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and building code.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA code.
• HVAC-R knowledge.
• Cooling tower knowledge.
• Electrical knowledge up to 480 VAC 3phase a plus.
• Basic knowledge of motor controls.
• Employee portals systems (timecard, and performance reviews).
• Good knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Good preventative/predictive skills.
• MS office software applications.

Shift Details

NOTE: We are recruiting 1 position for each of the following shifts:
A Shift - Sunday to Wednesday; Sunday to Tuesday - 7a-7p
B Shift - Sunday to Wednesday; Sunday to Tuesday - 7p-7a
D Shift - Thursday to Saturday; Wednesday to Saturday - 7p-7a
