Job summary

Essex Solutions USA LLC in Franklin, Indiana is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You may work any shift, including 12-hour staggered shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, basic welding, and the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience required or preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Complete basic welding and fabrication repairs
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and proper PPE requirements
• Document completed maintenance work
• Train and support new team members as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
