Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee daily upkeep of the resort and ensure a safe guest experience.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will manage service requests, supervise staff, and uphold building codes and SOPs while maintaining public areas to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility management or maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing basics.

Responsibilities

• Management and supervision of all related systems and the building envelope to ensure the safety of hotel guests, associates and vendors.
• Ensure compliance, preventative maintenance programs and procedures, SOPs as well as all Building/Fire/Health Department codes.
• Prioritize service requests; schedule and monitor the service performed to ensure customer satisfaction, safety and convenience.
• Maintain cleanliness of public and recreation areas of resort.

Job description

This position is responsible for managing the day to day maintenance and up keep of our resort.

Responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate will need to possess strong management and problem solving skills and should have some knowledge in HVAC systems management, electrical engineering and plumbing techniques.
