Accelera is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for its large food and beverage facility in New Jersey. The role offers weekday hours, strong overtime potential, and extensive company-paid benefits.

You will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot systems, and document work while contributing to low downtime and reliable operations across refrigerated environments. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with HVAC/R,

Qualifications

2+ years industrial maintenance experience required.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work on conveyor systems.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Experience with HVAC/R, refrigeration, or similar systems.
Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment.
Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, conveyor systems, HVAC/R, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize production downtime
Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before failures occur
Install, maintain, and repair facility and commercial equipment
Document maintenance, repairs, parts usage, and completed work
Work with the maintenance team to troubleshoot more complex equipment issues

Monday–Friday
2nd Shift:3:00 PM–11:30 PM
3rd Shift:11:00 PM–7:30 AM
Pay:$25–$31/hour, based on experience
Unlimited overtime opportunities

What You’ll Do

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, conveyor systems, HVAC/R, refrigeration, and mechanical systems

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of industrial maintenance experience required

Experience with HVAC/R, refrigeration, equipment repair, or similar systems
Comfortable working in arefrigerated environment
Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles

Preferred Experience

MIG/TIG welding
