Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Findlay, OH | Salary: $28-$32 per hour

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified building maintenance tasks to complete corrective and preventive maintenance on occupied and vacant apartments, buildings, and equipment during regular and on-call hours.

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance – 100%
• Maintain an organized scheduling and tracking system to effectively complete all maintenance requests within established company guidelines – 100%
• Perform minor electrical maintenance (e.g., repair, replacement, or installation of power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control systems) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g., repair, replacement, or installation of faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, washing machines) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools
• Perform minor carpentry work using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools
• Perform drywall installation and/or repair using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools
• Repair, replace, or install major household appliances (e.g., refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washing machines, dryers, window air conditioners) using appropriate tools
• Perform seasonal snow removal, including shoveling, blowing, or plowing snow from walkways, driveways, and parking lots, and application of ice melt with scoop
• Provide prompt service and courteous communication with tenants when providing maintenance services
