Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for exterior maintenance duties, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, minor roofing, and other exterior responsibilities to ensure community safety and proper maintenance.

Daily responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of building systems and prevent deterioration.
• Carry out maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Clean and repair fixtures like lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Maintain company-issued vehicle, if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Customer service oriented and team player.
• Self-motivated, proactive, with strong follow-up skills.
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.

Valid driver's license required.
