Job summary

Ali Industries/Rust-Oleum is seeking a maintenance technician in Ohio to troubleshoot, repair, and assemble electrical and mechanical systems in our manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect drives and equipment, and ensure building systems operate efficiently.

You will also record data, follow safety procedures, and adhere to quality standards while supporting department objectives and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical problems in manufacturing.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical machines.
• Perform routine preventive industrial maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and buildings operating efficiently.
• Repair and replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids and replace filters.
• Conduct general building maintenance such as plumbing and HVAC.
• Record operational data on specified forms.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Trouble shoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical problems in all areas of manufacturing
• Assemble mechanical and electrical machines
• Perform routine preventive industrial maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate
• Repair and replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools and reassemble equipment
• Clean, lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other partsInspect drives, motors, belts, check fluids, replace filters, and other maintenance functions as required
• Perform general building maintenance such as plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
• Record operational data on specified forms.
