Job summary

Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, PA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. You will tackle a range of tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and maintenance of table game equipment while upholding safety standards.

We value hands-on problem solvers who can work in a fast-paced casino environment alongside a dynamic team and contribute to reliable operations on the floor.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math including additions, subtractions, and calculations in various units.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and related equipment.
• Maintain table game equipment and related facilities.
• Adhere to safety procedures and cooperate with team on daily tasks.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Candidate must be knowledgeable in the procedures and required safety measures necessary to complete daily tasks.
• Candidate must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the maintenance field.
• Candidate will perform maintenance and repairs on table game equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC’s are preferred.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have a valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational skills desired.
