Job summary

The Performance Group in Ephrata, PA is partnering with a great client to hire a Production Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 8:30pm-6:00am). The role focuses on repairing and maintaining high-speed production line equipment, with emphasis on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• 12–36 months of progressive maintenance experience.
• Experience with high-speed production lines and packaging equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, chains, belting, conveying systems, and valves.
• Able to move heavy equipment, climb ladders, stand for long periods.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot failures to repair and maintain complex production equipment.
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently to meet productivity goals.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain paperwork and records; prepare required reports.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.

The Performance Group is partnering with a great client in the Ephrata, Pa. area to help fulfill their hiring needs.Production Maintenance Technician-Direct Hire3rd Shift-Sunday-Thursday 8:30pm-6:00amPay rate $26-$30 DOEThe Production Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production line equipment, troubleshoots equipment failures, and performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. In addition, he or she helps install new equipment and fabricates new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed.The ideal candidate has 12-36 months of experience in mechanical systems maintenance for a high-speed production line. Candidates must have maintenance experience with high-speed packaging equipment. Knowledge and advanced skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearing, chains and belting, conveying systems, valves, basic blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting.
